"I cannot climb inside each of my students to assist them in making wise decisions or being passionate. All I can do is teach techniques while demonstrating the skills of passion and wise decision making."

I teach because I enjoy it.  I teach because I love to pass valuable career- and life-enhancing ideas to others.  I teach because I love to witness the “I’ve got it!” expression on the faces of my students. 

For me, learning is a lifelong endeavor that separates those who are successful in life and those who are not.  I have little patience for students who have little desire to learn.  On the other hand, I give untiringly and unselfishly to anybody with a desire to learn.

The most important skill to learn in college is “critical thinking.”  It is far more important than any other.  For with that skill, you are armed with the seeds you need to grow anything your heart desires.

I consider myself a “teacher” more than a “grader.”  My goal is to help every student learn to the level worthy of earning a grade of “A.”  I do not always succeed, but I sure do try.

One final note: smiling and laughing release endorphins.  Endorphins facilitate learning.  I make you smile and laugh because it is fun and because it is good.
