Training
CUAC provides innovative, community-based clinical training to students in both the Univeristy of Colorado at Colorado Springs, M.A. Clinical Psychology and Ph.D. Geropsychology programs. Student participation in clinical programs provides invaluable experience while expanding service capacity, helping the CUAC meet escalating community needs. In 2006, the CUAC completed the training of its first Ph.D. student. The CUAC is currently training three M.A. students, six Ph.D. students, two doctoral interns and one post-doc.
The clinic and training experience is unique in that we serve many clients with significant financial challenges and evaluations are offered on a sliding scale.
