V. Financial Information
Beth-El
students can access information about financial aid and scholarships
from the
UCCS Financial Aid Office.
Specific scholarships, loans, and employment opportunities available to
Beth-El students are described on the following pages.
Beth-El
Endowment Trust Fund - Fund monies for the Endowment Trust fund are
provided from a number of contributors including memorial funds.
Preference is given to senior students.
This is a loan fund.
Beth-El
Alumni Donor Loan Fund (SOS Fund) - The emergency fund is available
through the generosity of the Beth-El Alumni.
This money remains readily available through the Dean's office to
assist students with loans for small emergency financial needs.
Beth-El
Alumni Scholarship - This scholarship is offered through the
generosity of the alumni. Contact
the President of the Alumni Association for additional information.
Elizabeth
Sevier Scholarship Loan Fund - This fund was established through the
generosity of Elizabeth Sevier. Her
commitment to education has benefited students in need of financial
support.
Friends
of Nursing Scholarship -
Through the generosity of the Friends of Nursing organization,
scholarships are available to Registered Nurses in either the Graduate
or Undergraduate program.
Veterans'
Assistance - The college is approved for educational benefits.
Information regarding retention rate of students and employment
of graduates is available from the college office upon request.
Nurse
Traineeship - (Graduate Students only) Funds available from the
Federal Nurse Traineeship program
Work
Opportunities: College
Work-Study, Off campus
employment, Memorial Hospital, Other area hospitals
Employer
Tuition Reimbursement - Registered nurses will complete a form
available in the Admission & Records office to facilitate employer
(Memorial and Penrose Hospitals only) notification of course completion.
This will facilitate employer reimbursement.
The form must be completed each semester and tuition must be paid
in full prior to submission.
