CENTER FOR COLORADO POLICY STUDIES: Program on Tax Policy

The program on tax policy explores the impacts of Colorado's state and local tax structure on areas such as patterns of growth, economic development, income inequality, local government revenues, and resource use by Coloradans.  Applying basic principles of public finance, as well as comparing Colorado's revenue structure to that of other states reveals areas for potential tax reform as well as costs and benefits of the current system.
