This site surveys a wide scope of information, from philosophical approaches to classroom practices related to the use of technology for the early learner.

Trends include the increased use of technology in every phase of education, and developing early childhood programs aimed at preparing young children for the environment of formal education.

Within these two areas a number of issues arise.

This site is intended to address a selected number of issues and trends, and encourage you to examine the role that technology plays in the education of the young learner.

Among the questions used to design this site:
How is technology being used? Does it play a significant role in the development of the child?

Are teachers adequately prepared to incorporate technology into their curriculum?
