Welcome to the English Department

Welcome to the web page of the Department of English at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.  We offer the B.A. in English, the B.A. in English with a track in Professional Writing, and the B.A. in English with minors in Teacher Education, either Elementary or Secondary. 

At first glance, this may suggest that teaching is all you can do with an English degree--though teaching at any level is an important and meaningful career, and our graduates place well.  But the English major offers a lot of flexibility; indeed, it has been called the most useful pre-professional degree.
