The student arts magazine for CU-Colorado Springs is riverrun, a free publication available to the CU community around early April at several sites on campus, including the main desk in the Housing Village, Kraemer Family Library, Overlook Café, and University Center.A reception in honor of riverrun is scheduled each spring once the exact date of publication is known. Riverrun accepts submissions for publication.
Any student at CU-Colorado Springs may submit up to five previously unpublished works of original poetry, short fiction, non-fiction, short drama, essays, photography, and/or artwork.
For further submission instructions and information, download the submission form (MS Word file), or pick one up outside the Rose Johnson’s office in Columbine Hall, Room 1022. This year’s submission deadline is December 3rd, 2007.

(1) one completed submission form listing the author’s/artist's name, address, telephone number (cell if available), and email (if available), and title(s) of the work(s) submitted; and
(2) one UNNAMED disk with electronic versions of the work(s) on it.The form and the disk should be put in an envelope and mailed to the address above or given to Rose Johnson secretary for the Department of English in Columbine Hall, Room 1022. You can slide it under her door if she is not there. Forms can be downloaded from this site or picked up outside office 1022.
Again, the name of the author/artist SHOULD NOT appear on individual work(s) of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, drama, essay, photography, and/or artwork saved on the disk so as to aid in the fairness of the judging procedure. No e-mail submissions will be accepted.
