Welcome to the first edition of the Geodata Lab Update, monthly newsletter of The Southern Colorado Geodata Laboratory! Our mission is to promote understanding and application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by providing education, conducting research, and performing GIS outreach projects for the community. Educational offerings include full semester courses in GIS as well as short-courses in using GIS software for working professionals.

For those of you who’ve been waiting for us to offer more ArcGIS certificate courses in Colorado Springs, here it is! The Geodata Lab is partnering with ESRI authorized instructor Kerri Kenerson of AnythingGIS.com to offer both ArcGIS I and II courses the week of May 24 –28th.
