Guaranteed Admission for Current UCCS Students
This program is designed to offer outstanding
students enrolled in their final semester at UCCS guaranteed and
expedited admission to the Graduate School. Early admission is not
available to students on an F-1 visa.

Fast-Track Admission for Current and Former
UCCS Students
The Fast-Track Admission
Process is designed to offer a more efficient admission process to
former undergraduate students that have graduated from the
University of Colorado, Colorado Springs no more than four years
prior to the time of application to a graduate program. The
following graduate programs accept Fast-Track applications for
admission:

Applied Geography (MA)

Biology (MSc) (options in Biochemistry/Biotechnology,
Exercise Science and Organismic Biology)

Business Administration (MBA)
-
Chemistry (MSc)
-
College of Engineering and Applied Science (many
programs available)

Communication (MA)

History (MA)
-
Sociology (MA)
Fast-Track Admission is not available
for students applying to Nursing, Psychology (MA), Psychology (PhD) with
emphasis in Geropsychology, MSc
students in option areas other than Biology, School of
Public Affairs (Public Administration - MPA and Criminal Justice -
MCJ) or the College of Education (Counseling, Special Education and
Curriculum and Instruction).

To apply to the Graduate School at UCCS, please
review and print/download the items below. All application materials are
to be sent directly to the department in which you wish to study
(see below for address).
Domestic applicants
may also complete Parts I and II of your application online via a
secured connection by

Application and
Notification Timeline
The department must receive all application materials on or before
the application deadline. Recommendation letters and transcripts
from previous institutions usually take several weeks to a few
months to arrive. In order to meet the deadline, the application
process should begin much earlier.
Finally, some programs allow students to enroll in courses prior to
formal application into their graduate program. Please check with
the program of interest to determine if this option is available.
Once you have applied, the decision and subsequent notification will
be dependent on the particular program as well as the completion of
all application materials.
