  Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take me to complete my graduate degree?

Most graduate students complete their degree program in 2 to 3 years. Students have up to six years to complete their graduate degree.

The amount of time it takes to complete a degree depends a great deal on the student. The number of courses you take per semester, the decision whether or not to complete a thesis, and any extended absences from the university all contribute to the length of time it takes to complete your graduate degree.

If you have a specific timeline during which you would like to complete your degree, make sure to meet with your advisor on a regular basis to discuss class availability and map out a degree plan.
