History Department News

The History Department announces the hiring of our new scholar in Middle Eastern Islamic History. Carole Woodall, currently completing her Ph.D. at New York University, joined the department in the 2007-08 school year. Woodall specializes in modern Turkey; her dissertation focuses on popular culture in early 20th century Istanbul. Welcome to Carole Woodall!
