Public Administration. A Library Primer
Kraemer Library Basics
Use the Library webpage for basic information and the most comprehensive guide to
- Library holdings
The Library Catalog lists all books, videos, and journal titles available in the Library. Anything not owned by the Library may be available through Prospector, and if not, try WorldCat under the link to Regional, National, & World Library catalogs.
- Journal articles
See link to periodical indexes by name of index or subject area to identify a database appropriate to your topic. Choosing a database specifically for your topic will yield the most appropriate and most comprehensive results. You may then check the list of Print and Electronic Journal Holdings to identify whether the Library owns the journal in one of those formats.
Interlibrary loan is an option for any materials not owned by the Library. You may make a request online through WebZap from the Library home page or by filling out a form at the Reference Desk.
Most useful for statistical information. The Library is a selective depository for the federal government and also a depository for state documents. Local documents from the City of Colorado Springs, El Paso County, and the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments are cataloged as part of the regular collection.
