SELECTED WEB RESOURCES ON COLORADO SPRINGS AND COLORADO
Listed below are web resources that may be useful in searching for information on Colorado Springs or Colorado. This list is not exhaustive but does represent some of the best starting points for doing web research on Colorado. These resources supplement the print, non-print and electronic holdings in the Kraemer Family Library.
LIBRARIES
Pikes Peak Library District – an excellent starting point for information on the Pikes Peak Region. Try the following links:
- Community Information – including links to agencies and economic indicators for the region
- Web Picks – includes lists of resources for Colorado Springs and Colorado
- Special Collections – including links to the Digital Photograph Archive and Local History and Genealogy Information
- Electronic Reference – to search the various databases available to library patrons (requires PPLD library card). Important files include those for Colorado newspapers and community database links.
- Or search the Catalog for other publications available for checkout with a public library card
Colorado College Tutt Library – houses many important historical documents on the Pikes Peak Region. Try the following links:

Colorado Virtual Library – provides access to the information resources of the libraries of the state and includes links to important Colorado web resources. Try searching the following categories:

Colorado State Publications Library - provides Colorado residents with convenient access to information produced by state government. Try the following links:
- Links to State Information by Subject – including Quick Colorado Information with links to current statistical information, Colorado By the Numbers database, and a good list of State Newspapers and Television Stations with links to their web sites
- Connect to their Online Catalog to search for Colorado government publications and links to important Colorado web sites.
Colorado State Resources Page at CU-Boulder Libraries – provides extensive list of links primarily to Colorado state government information.
