Alternative Photography Page 1

These pages are dedicated to some of my Alternative Photography. Some of these images were successful and others are just examples of my attempts. Some of the alternative processes were rather discouraging for me, my classmates were sometimes more successful than I was in a process and sometimes they were less successful.
I fell in love with the cyanotypes, the blue images seemed to come easier than than the silver nitrate on salted paper. I also liked the the Van dyke brown because of the richness of the images and the tonality. As a final in the class, I chose the Egg Albumen process, which was an insane decision. This was by far the most frustrating process I attempted over the course of the semester but something about it has me so utterly charmed....for more information and links relating to the alternative processes...go here
