We offer online orientation as a convenience to our students that cannot make a group session.  The information we provide students at orientation is vital to their transition to UCCS.  Because the information we provide at orientation is important, we want you to know the same information about your new university as students who attend in person.  To make sure you absorb the same material as those in attendance, we ask that you complete a test at the end of this online session. When you can answer at least 80% of the questions correctly, we will allow you to meet with an advisor so you can register for courses.  

The Online Orientation is meant to closely approximate our real-time orientation program. All of the information students receive at Orientation is available in this version.

The Online Orientation should take you approximately 1-3 hours to complete.  You do not need to do the entire orientation all at once (although it is recommended). You can also come back here at any time to review the information.  Once you complete the online orientation, you will be contacted by the Student Success Center to schedule an appointment  with an advisor.  The advisor will give you all of the information you need to know about what courses you should take and any other relevant academic information to get you started.
