What you can do before your Orientation session.....

Once you have been accepted, a brochure and reservation card will be sent to you. If you have not already done so, follow the instructions in the brochure to sign up for the date you wish to attend.

In the meantime, here are some things that will help you prepare for your first semester....

If you are a Colorado resident, sign up for the College Opportunity Fund (COF)
Contact Financial Aid with any questions, even if you don't think you are eligible
Contact Housing with questions
Plan to join Campus Activities
Check with the Bursar's office (Cashier) about payment options
Look at the Bulletin (the catalog) and the Online Schedule at the Course Information Center
Explore the UCCS website, www.uccs.edu
Explore the Student Success Center website, that is where you will find your academic advisor
If you know your major, look over your major sheet and find your department's home page
If you don't know your major yet, visit the Career Center
